Right next to the beach and not to far away from Had Rin for the Full Moon Party, but fare enough away to have a relaxing nights sleep when your done with it all. Good resort, I'd stay there again.
Avoid the cafe on site.. Service is very poor, staff are not helpful, food takes ages and when it comes its not that good..

the outdoor court yard brings everyone together for all meals and your able to meet new people.
rooms weren't cleaned daily, the beach looks nice but is full of seaweed. hotel was over booked and we didnt get the rooms we had booked, and 5 people had to sleep in one room!! however we got a good price at the end of the day.

The hotel was very close to the beach...I tried going to this hotel because it was close to the party full moon party, but it isnt near!
the rooms are dirty. We stayed four days and no day rooms cleaned or changing the sheets or towels. He had a lot insects, and the rooms had no air conditioning and curtains do not cap the whole window. Most reception staff is bad mannered. The photos of the hotel are much better than the rooms are in reality.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Photo's are photoshopped and look nothing like the real thing!

The staff were very friendly.
Having booked a Beach Front Bungalow - saw the pictures online and paid 1800 thai baht per night i was shown to a bamboo hut where all the facilities where old and broken. I had to speak to the staff and show them Booked.net online to show pictures of what i had booked. Out of all the places that i have booked ans stayed in thailand this accommodation had the most cockroaches!

Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The door on room wasn't very secure, fan in room not very effective. Toilet didn't flush properly, cistern took about an hour to refill. The sun loungers were very uncomfortable, I found it better to lie on the sand at the beach. Beach was dirty with rubbish thrown around and compared to other places we've stayed in Thailand, for the smae amount of money, it was very grubby.

(1) The food is quite good although serving kind of slow. (2) Food price wise quite reasonable. (3) The room is nicely decorated but the flooring is a bit poor with the sticky glue oozing out. (4) Aircond working fine. (5) Just about 30-50meter walking distance the beach although the beach is not as clean as xpected. However, the sea water is quite clear.
(1) Beware when you use the rented bike recommend by this resort. The rental shop is actually right outside the corner of the main road which next to the access to this resort. The rented bike we got was THB200/day which is 24Hrs with good condition. Rental rate was reasonable, however, the shop owner will come with a paper asked to sign for a guaranteed and compensation letter with all the price list if we did anything wrong such as scratches on the bike. (Make sure you took the bike photo to protect yourself). This is still not a big deal, we hate being cheated where the owner brought us to his shop and asked us to refill 2x small bottle of fuel cost THB40 each. You can see from the fuel indicator from the bike is not even reach a single segment. We didn't realized until we being cheated when we about to refill more fuel at one of the gasoline station, you know?? THB50 got us almost full tank!! So if you want to rent the bike be sure you don't get this trap that we experienced. They will also ask for your passport, don't give them your passport but a photo copy of your passport instead. Do only fill up your fuel tank moderate as at the end the shop owner will suck it out to make more dirty money. The gasoline is everywhere and can be easily access to, so don't need to fill them up to full tank. (2) The shower pressure in 2 of our rooms were extremely low, for which we need longer time to take shower. (3) There are 2 swimming pools in the resort, both pools were ridiculously with dirty and cloudy water. (3) About early drop off on 2 Sept from resort back to Thongsala pier. - Upon arrival on 31 Aug 2012 during check-in we told the reception that we need 4am early drop off on 2 sept, the lady told us no worry, we have the drop off, it's THB 80/pax. - 1 Sept before off for full moon party around 830pm, we told the lady again, the same answer she gave. - 2 Sept midnight after we return from full moon party around 3am.

Nice relaxing beach, a bit far away from the party scene, 20 min, although that can work out good to be able to sleep and relax after a good party night. Friendly guests and staff. Private bungalows with a/c are a good option.
Facilities a bit old, specially pool area, the room was fine, I was there for the full moon party and they do take advanteag of that and raise the prices. Not the best breakfast buffet. It was a bit of a drag to get a taxi but just had to walk 5 min and would get one easily.

Friendly staff
I was pretty shocked when I arrived at the resort that this had received an 8.7 rating. What on earth?? I paid 1100 baht for a double room that had no sheets - just a comforter that clearly had not been washed between guests. The setting was ugly, with no view of any water, and the room spartan. It would be fine if I had paid 500 baht, but this was a ripoff.

The room was great- spacious and clean. The location was spot on - right next to the beach and only a short taxi ride away from the centre. The restaurant was fantastic too - good choice and quality. Lovely, chilled-out vibe, friendly staff and great value for money!

Although very basic it was clean.
The guests were pretty inconsiderate and loud all night. It was advertised more like a resort rather than the back packing institute that it should have been shown as. The beach was terrible. Breakfast was awful, other than the lovely chicken noodles, inedible.

Good resort. Close enough to the haad rin beach (about 20 mins in a cab - 100 baht per person). Nice pool and restaurant is good if a little pricey. Staff very friendly.
Make sure you book an air con bungalow. We had a fan in ours and it was a real sweat box. The rooms are very basic with no storage at all. There is no protection from insects at all. They WILL get into ure room.

Do not stay here unless your okay with living among the creepy crawlers.
